| I've been pretty busy. Tests. Midterms. Papers. Parties. READING. STUDYING. STUDYING. That's about it. Finals are next week and I need to ACE all of them to get the grades that I want. I messed up in the beginning but I can do better. No regrets. I'm in college, I love it!

| I'm on top of things... (Well I think I am) I'm having a great time, but midterms and papers are killers. Within a week and a half, I have 2 midterms that will make or break me and 2 papers due that will make me breakout. I will also be doing some cool new things, such as singing in a choir and trying out for UCDavis's Pilipino Culture Night. Enough of this Xanga for now. I need to drink more Green Tea to stay up to study. | | |
| Midterms went fcuking horrible!!!! Damn. I messed up, big! I underestimated it all. Now I just have to work harder. Buckle down on the school work. Midterms are coming around the corner again on November 17. Shit. All I have to say is I KNOW BETTER! | | |
| I'm amazed on how exciting life is right now. Despite the midterms and papers due next week, I feel uber fantastic. The stress and excitement makes it all worthwhile. Things that I learned outside of class: - Keak Da Sneak is coming to Davis on Oct. 19, 2006 and I have class at night
 - Facebook has taken over universities
- The Hyphy Movement is everywhere
- Country music is disliked by many people
 - DC (dining commons) food is getting nauseating
- Biking is essential to UCD freshmens
- The smell of cows is normal to people living in Tercero area (I love it)
- University of Vermont T.A.s are pretty HOT, well mine is.
- Karaoking is an essential part of socializing on my floor...
- SoCal kids HELLA dislike the word HELLA
 - You can't take the YAY from the BAY AREA
- Some sorority & fraternity parties aren't worth going to
- Coupons are good to have
- Free is a good word to use when inviting people
- Doing laundry is a hassle (appreciate having free laundry)
- Don't get a class that goes past 6pm
- Don't get a schedule with an hour or 2 between each class
- Filipinos make up 4% of UCD population
 - The internet is a good distraction from studying, reading, and writing.

That's it for now, I'm still learning. I'll be in Fresno on Friday the 13th. I'm skipping 2 classes to see you my fellow Fresnans or Clovisers. | | |
| I've been in Davis for about 5 days. It was sorta scary being on my own for the first few days. Now it feels pretty normal. My first class starts at 510pm. I plan on walking there with a floormate. I still miss my family and friends at home but I shouldn't worry about it that much because I'll see them soon. I just have to keep my head focused... | | |
